Guaranteed internships in 4*-5* hotels and fine-dining restaurants

It’s impossible to become a true professional without practical experience — that’s why all HOTEL SCHOOL students and learners are guaranteed an internship in Latvia or abroad.

Students enrolled in higher or international education programmes can choose internship placements at leading hotel brands in Latvia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, or Cyprus. These are 4*–5* hotels — some of them are members of the prestigious The Leading Hotels of the World Association, while others are World Travel Award winners recognized internationally.

Meanwhile, learners of professional further education programmes can go on internships in Italy, training in restaurants in the culinary capital — Rome. Among our partners are even Michelin-starred restaurants!

Opportunity to Earn During Internship

For international internships, students receive a monthly salary paid by the employer. The employer also provides accommodation and meals during the internship, and in some cases covers travel and insurance costs.

In addition, students may apply for a scholarship from the Erasmus+ Programme, as well as receive other Erasmus+ benefits available for those undertaking internships abroad.

Higher education students can earn up to €2000 per month, while further education learners can earn up to €1200 per month!

The first internship for students takes place at the end of the first academic year. Most of our students choose to complete their internship abroad. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn top-level hospitality standards, discover their strengths and weaknesses, and experience the culture of another country.

Job opportunities for graduates

HOTEL SCHOOL graduates with a BTEC Level 5 diploma are offered a 6-12 month internship in hotels in the United States . The offered vacancies include working in leading positions of well-known world brand hotels in New York, Washington, Los Angeles, New Orleans. During the internship, the salary paid is 14-20 USD per hour (35 000-45 000 USD per year).
