2.Transnational Meeting of the project “InternshipConnect”
From March 24–26, 2026, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College proudly hosted the 2nd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ project “InternshipConnect” in Riga.
We were delighted to welcome our international partners:

✅Ballymun Job Centre (Ireland)
✅Regional Chamber of Craft & Small Business of Kranj (Slovenia)
✅ AMC (Portugal)
✅Italian Hospitality School SRL (Italy)
Over three productive days, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaborative work aimed at improving internship experiences across Europe.
Key highlights of the meeting:
- Sharing innovative practices and exploring intercultural approaches, including Latvian language learning for foreign interns and interviews with international students in Riga
- Strategic sessions on communication, dissemination, and project impact
- Insightful discussions with students and staff from HOTEL SCHOOL and Hanseberg VET College (Denmark) on academic, social, and internship experiences
- Presentation of a pilot “bridging device” model to support and secure professional internships
- Progress discussions on implementing experimental support hubs across partner countries
- A professional visit to AC Hotel Riga by Marriott, including an interview with Deputy Director Sabīne Jansone
- A guided tour of Old Riga, offering a cultural perspective on our vibrant city
This meeting strengthened collaboration between partners and moved us forward in creating more inclusive, supportive, and effective internship pathways for young people across Europe.
