On November 5, 2025, we at HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College were delighted to welcome VET learners from the Don Bosco Youth Educational Center in Lviv, Ukraine.

With the support of the Erasmus+ programme, these young professionals will be undertaking their internships in Riga’s top hotels and restaurants until the end of December — an especially magical time to be in Latvia!

This period coincides with national holidays and the festive Christmas season, when Riga transforms into a true winter wonderland. The city’s historic streets come alive with lights, music, and the scent of warm cinnamon pastries, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for learning and living.

During their first orientation week, our guests enjoyed a guided tour of Old Riga, visited several museums, and explored their future internship placements.

We wish them a successful and inspiring internship experience — may this journey bring valuable professional growth, cultural discovery, and wonderful memories of Riga in its most beautiful season!
