Young, Motivated, and Ready to Grow in Riga
Right now, Riga is wrapped in biting winter frost — but that certainly did not stop our new friends from arriving with curiosity, motivation, and bright smiles! On January 28, 2026, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College was delighted to welcome VET learners from Volyn Professional College NUFT in Lutsk, Ukraine.
Thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ programme, these talented young professionals are beginning an exciting chapter of their professional journey. Over two coming months, they will complete their internships at leading hospitality venues in Riga, including AC Hotel Riga, Tallink Hotel Riga, and Aston Hotel Riga, gaining valuable hands-on experience in an international working environment.
During their first orientation week, our guests immersed themselves in the city and its culture — enjoying a guided tour of Old Riga, visiting Art Museum Riga Bourse, and getting to know their future internship placements.
We are proud to support young professionals as they develop their skills, expand their horizons, and take meaningful steps toward their future careers. We wish our Ukrainian guests a successful, inspiring, and unforgettable internship experience in Riga — may it be filled with learning, new friendships, and professional growth!
Learning mobilities for traineeship of Ukrainian learners are implemented in the framework of the project No. 2025-1-LV01-KA121-VET-000313044, which is co-financed by the European Union.
