Volunteering with Erasmus+ in Italy
In the summer of 2025, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College introduced a new and meaningful approach to adult learning — one that went beyond lectures and trainings. In cooperation with an Italian Hospitality School and Croce Rossa Italiana (Italian Red Cross), and with the financial support of Erasmus+, our adult learners took part in a 40-day volunteering experience in Italy.
During this journey, participants improved their language skills, discovered Italy’s rich cultural heritage, and actively contributed to local community initiatives. Through hands-on involvement, they deepened their understanding of European values such as solidarity, inclusion, and civic responsibility — not as abstract concepts, but as lived experiences.
Volunteering plays a vital role in strengthening communities and empowering individuals. The work done by volunteers truly matters: it supports those in need, builds bridges between cultures, and creates positive change that reaches far beyond borders. For our learners, this experience was not only unforgettable, but also transformative — personally, socially, and professionally.
We look forward to welcoming new participants who are ready to make a difference and embrace volunteering in summer 2026.
