Shaping Future Hospitality Professionals Through Internships
Last week, we at HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College were pleased to welcome students from Volyn Professional College NUFT in Lutsk, Ukraine. Our Ukrainian guests arrived in Riga to begin their long-term student mobility for traineeships — an important step in their professional development.
During the next two months, the students will complete their traineeships at Neiburgs Hotel & Restaurant, a 4-star Art Nouveau–style hotel located in the very heart of Riga’s Old Town. Immersed in a real working environment, they will strengthen their hospitality skills, gain international experience, and learn directly from industry professionals.
We are delighted to welcome students from the higher education sector to HOTEL SCHOOL and to support them on their professional journey. Internships play a crucial role in shaping true professionals — they bridge theory and practice, build confidence, and prepare students for real careers in hospitality. We wish our Ukrainian guests a productive, enriching, and professionally fulfilling time in Riga!
Incoming student mobilities for traineeships are implemented in the framework of the project No. 2024-1-LV01-KA131-HED-000206666, which is co-financed by the European Union.
