On November 21, 2023, the representatives of Michelin Guide Latvia unveiled their inaugural selection of restaurants for the Michelin Guide. The first restaurant in Latvia to receive a Michelin star was Max Cekot Kitchen, a sophisticated restaurant located in the industrial area of Riga. While receiving distinctive recognition from the world-famous guide is a huge achievement, we at HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College are especially proud that three of our students, Anastasia, Mihail, and Ieva, work in the Max Cekot Kitchen as permanent employees.

We have visited our students recently to see how they are doing. Anastasia is a junior sommelier, Ieva is a waitress, and Mihail is a cook, and all of them are very delighted that the efforts of the whole Max Cekot Kitchen team are evaluated so highly.
