Exploring the Future of Learning: Artificial Intelligence in Education
Artificial Intelligence has become a hot topic across many industries — from IT and marketing to education. To stay in tune with the latest developments, this August, our lecturer Sabīne Jansone participated in the international training course “Artificial Intelligence for Education: Exploring the Frontiers of ICT” held in Rome.
Here are Sabīne’s reflections on the experience:
“I had the opportunity to take part in the course “Artificial Intelligence for Education: Exploring the Frontiers of ICT.”
AI tools are rapidly transforming the world of technology. In this fast-paced era, it’s easy to get lost in the maze of innovations — that’s why it’s crucial to think critically and evaluate which AI tools truly help us work more effectively. During the course, we compared a variety of AI tools that can not only simplify data processing for teachers but also make the learning process more interactive and engaging for students. We also discussed the ethics of AI use and explored how easily misleading information can arise if questions are poorly formulated.
There’s no need to fear artificial intelligence — but it’s essential to approach it with a critical and informed mindset.”
A huge thanks to Erasmus+ for supporting lifelong learning and making such valuable experiences possible!
