A workshop on Latvian traditional cuisine was held at HOTEL SCHOOL
Latvian traditional cuisine is a recognized value in every Latvian family; however, residents of other countries know quite little about our traditional dishes. That’s why we decided to introduce our partners from Dr. Sadık Ahmet Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey) and Colegiul Vasile Lovinescu (Romania) with the most beloved Latvian dishes, their preparation methods, and the most common flavour combinations at the workshop “Latvian Traditional Cuisine”. The workshop was organized on September 30, 2022, in the framework of the project “A World of Cuisine”, project No. 2021-1-TR-KA210VET-000029335, and was attended not only by the guests from Turkey and Romania, but also by learners of HOTEL SCHOOL.
We thank the HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College’s team, especially Erasmus+ Project manager and Development director Olga Zvereva and Chef Romans Artamonovs for organizing the exciting journey of taste that was enjoyed by all participants of the workshop. Also, we would like to say a special “Thank you” to the learners of HOTEL SCHOOL, whose practical support during the workshop was invaluable!
