“A World of Cuisine”: the Mobility of Students in Latvia, Day 4

As we are still under impressions from the great trainings experienced during the Mobility of Students in Latvia (Erasmus+ project “A World of Cuisine” No. 2021-1-TR-KA210VET-000029335), here is a throwback to the Day 4!

First thing in the morning, the VET learners from Dr. Sadık Ahmet Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey) and Colegiul Vasile Lovinescu (Romania) together with our great colleague lecturer Inna Kučera explored the options of developing menus via Canva platform. Afterward we experienced exciting workshop “Creative Kitchen Management” by individually practising chef Aleksandar Locmelis-Manevski and were mesmerized by application of nitrogen in the kitchen. During the second half of the day we visited Riga’s best restaurants and hotels – Vincents Restaurant, Hotel and Restaurant Neiburgs, and Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga.

The end of the day was marked by the spectacular visit to Latvian National Opera and Ballet, enjoying Rossini’s opera in two acts “Cinderella” and orientating in the variety of services such an exclusive place may offer.
