From May 19 to 21, 2026, representatives from HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College participated in the LTTA activity for the the Erasmus+ project “Master Chef Simulator: Sustainable Gastronomy Training Through VR” (Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000245625). The event was hosted by Karabük University in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Safranbolu, Turkiye. The college delegation included Head of the College Jūlija Pasnaka, Development Director Olga Zvereva, Lecturer Romans Artamonovs, and students Maksims Lavrentjevs and Ernests Bohans.

During the teaching and learning activity, participants engaged in culinary training using a newly developed Virtual Reality application, On May 21, the delegation visited Karabük University for an official meeting with the Rector and Vice-Rector. Following this, on May 22, the HOTEL SCHOOL representatives attended the Digital Chefs’ Congress, where Olga Zvereva and Romans Artamonovs presented their scientific article, “Environmentally Friendly Foods: A Sustainable Nutrition in Latvia.”
