HOTEL SCHOOL Hosts LTTA in Riga
From June 11–13, 2025, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College proudly hosted the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) in Riga, welcoming 22 participants – educators and experts from:
- Karabuk University (Coordinator, Turkiye)
- Karabük Provincial Directorate of National Education (Turkiye)
- Italian Hospitality School SRL (Italy)
- Mengen Aşçılar Tourism Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (Turkiye)
- CODLAB AI Yazılım Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Turkiye)
- Zespol Szkol nr 1 (Poland)
- SMARTS Private Company (Greece)
The event was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project “Master Chef Simulator: Sustainable Gastronomy Training Through VR” (Acronym: VRtheCHEF, Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000245625).
Over three intensive days, participants engaged in a rich learning, teaching, and training program that included video training sessions on sustainable cuisine. These sessions were based on research and content specifically developed for the innovative VR application on sustainable gastronomy, currently in production.
Throughout the program, diverse cultural perspectives and sustainable food practices, ingredients, and techniques from Turkiye, Greece, Poland, Italy, and Latvia were presented in detail at a scientific level.
By sharing expertise and experiences, the participants significantly enriched their knowledge, contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital solutions in Virtual Reality for the future of gastronomy education.
