Italian chef Rocco Burdino visits HOTEL SCHOOL
In April 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting masterclasses by Italian chef Rocco Burdino, who came to HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College in the framework of the project “Providing relevant job skills through VET learning – Fornire competenze professionali attraverso l’apprendimento IFP”, project No. 2021-1-IT01-KA122-VET-000017760.
Mr. Burdino organised training sessions for VET learners from Latvia and Ukraine and taught them Italian cuisine specialties like pizza, focaccia, pasta, and many more.
We were very impressed by the high level of professionalism displayed by Mr. Burdino and hope to welcome him again soon. At the same time, Rocco had the opportunity to participate in the Cameroonian Cultural Day organised by the members of HOTEL SCHOOL RIGA Student Parliament from Cameroon. This was a really unique experience, as Mr. Burdino helped cook Cameroonian traditional food for the first time in his life.
