Participating in Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity in Greece

From April 28 to 30, 2025, HOTEL SCHOOL Development Director and lecturer Olga Zvereva, along with lecturer Jekaterina Korjuhina, participated in the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Lamia, Greece.

The event focused on sustainable gastronomy and eco-friendly food practices in Turkiye, Greece, Italy, Poland, and Latvia. Research findings, concepts, and principles from all partner countries will be integrated into a Virtual Reality (VR) application on sustainable food, currently in development.

The LTTA was hosted by SMARTS Private Company (Greece) and brought together partners of the Erasmus+ KA220 project “Master Chef Simulator: Sustainable Gastronomy Training Through VR” (Acronym: VRtheCHEF, Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000245625). Project partners include:

Lamia, the host city, is located on the slopes of Mount Othrys near the river Spercheios. With around 47,500 inhabitants (2021 census), it is the agricultural heart of a fertile rural and livestock region.
