From March 31 to April 4, 2025, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College’s Development Director, Mg. Paed., MIB Olga Zvereva participated in the workshop “NO LEFTOVER Culinary Arts for VET Educators: Methodological Workshops for Integration of the Concept in all Stages of Culinary Arts, Teaching and Learning Processes” in Italy. The event was hosted by the partner ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL in the framework of the project “Horizontal VET Capacity Building for internationalisation and modernisation including innovation, digitalisation and sustainability by methodology transfer and exchange of good practices”, project No. 101129249.

The series of workshops was devoted to the exploration of sustainable practices used in Italy. During the week, the participants went to Frascati to tour the city’s rich culinary heritage and attend pasta master-class; explored local food produce on the most famous Roman market “Mercato Trionfale;” visited the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and had many valuable lectures and cultural experiences in between.

The workshops were also attended by the project partners from Ukraine, the National University of Food Technologies, and Don Bosco Youth Educational Center.

We thank our partner, ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL, for hosting these remarkable workshops. We have learned so much!
