Participating in the methodological workshop on the use and design of innovations in Rome, Italy
From September 24-28, 2024, HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College’s Development Director, Mg. Paed., MIB Olga Zvereva, participated in the workshop “Use and Design of Innovations and Computer Games in the Hospitality Industry Business and Educational Processes” in Rome, Italy. The event was hosted by the partner ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL in the framework of the project “Horizontal VET Capacity Building for internationalisation and modernisation including innovation, digitalisation and sustainability by methodology transfer and exchange of good practices”, project No. 101129249.
During the five days of intensive work, various topics were presented by the project partners, as well as guest speakers. For example, Dr. Neno Gabelia, the Head of Study Department at ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL presented the topic “Embedding content on the Hospitality Sector in the light of gamification importance”, Ramsha Shahab, the Head of Student Department at ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL, presented the topic “Eco-Friendly Innovations: Pioneering Sustainability and Digital Transformation in the Hospitality Sector,” our colleague, Mg. Paed., MIB Olga Zvereva, presented the topic “Digital teaching learning tools for culinary art,” and Daniel Weiss, a Professor of the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University, discussed the topic “Evaluation of digital tools and their perceived impact on active learning.”
