HOTEL SCHOOL visits Turkey in the framework of the project “A World of Cuisine”
Last week, from June 14th to June 18th, the Development Director of HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College together with the team of College’s VET teachers have been visiting Turkey as part of the project “A World of Cuisine” (Project Nr. 2021-1-TR-KA210VET-000029335). The week spend in both Istanbul and Edirne was truly marvellous experience for all our team and it greatly expanded our knowledge of Turkish culture and cuisine!
The host organisation, Dr. Sadık Ahmet Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey), has prepared a truly amazing set of activities! Together with our third partner, Colegiul Vasile Lovinescu (Romania), we have had several very informative seminars about Turkish gastronomy history and traditional cooking methods. We also have visited historical places that during the Ottoman times were operating as country’s best culinary centres. Finally, we have participated in a very exciting and delicious workshop “Innovation and Fusion Practices in Gastronomy and Turkish Cuisine”.
