VIII International Applied Research Conference

On May 19, 2025, together with our students, partners, and friends, we enjoyed a wonderful event: the VIII INTERNATIONAL APPLIED RESEARCH CONFERENCE (including a roundtable discussion with hospitality experts and stakeholders) organized by HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College.

During the day, we experienced numerous inspirational and informative sessions, for example, a speaker from Italy Danilo Di Pasquale presented topics “Technology and Humanity: A Balance between Automation and Empathy for a Human Factor Business Based” and “Toyota Hotel: Hospitality Inspired by Toyota Production System”, and speaker from Ukraine, PhD. Yuliia Remyha, presented the topic “Digital and Sustainable Development of Vocational Education in Times of Crisis”. HOTEL SCHOOL students presented various high-quality research on AI transformation in the hospitality.

Part of the conference was also devoted to the project “Horizontal VET Capacity Building for internationalisation and modernisation including innovation, digitalisation and sustainability by methodology transfer and exchange of good practices”, project No. 101129249. The partners presented their case studies on the topic “AI in Hospitality and Education: Readiness for Twin Transition. Impact by the CB-VET project on the stakeholders.” Also, the roundtable discussion on the challenges and opportunities from the use of AI in the hospitality and education took place.

We thank all the participants, our guests, and friends for joining us at this academic event of the year!
